centremk beach‘The Beach’ at leading shopping and leisure destination; centre:mk is back 4th August-2nd September 2018, celebrating its 10th year with a ‘Great British Seaside’ theme. Middleton Hall (outside John Lewis) has undergone another transformation into the region’s largest indoor shopping centre ‘beach’ made up of 102 tonnes of sand.

The free to enter attraction has become a firm favourite amongst guests who have been eagerly enquiring about its return since the start of the year.
Kevin Duffy, Centre Director said “It’s incredible to see the constant transformation of our event space into different attractions which have been designed to delight and surprise our guests. We know that shoppers want a complete day out when they visit us and by bringing in events such as ‘The Beach’ in addition to our 1000’s of brands and dining options, we can offer exactly that.”

‘The Beach’ this year has brought in all the wonderful classics you'd hope to find at the great British seaside including; Punch & Judy shows, wacky mirrors, penny falls, bungees, train rides and even an indoor shark themed rollercoaster.
