Handmade and Vintage fair marches into Milton Keynes

Date Posted:11/02/2014

Handmade and Vintage FairThe first weekend in March sees the keenly anticipated return of the MK Handmade & Vintage Weekend Extravaganza, one of MK’s most popular events.    Middleton Hall, in thecentre:mk, is transformed into a treasure trove of 120 colourful market stalls, a paradise for lovers of the unusual and unique.  For savvy shoppers who aren’t slaves to high street trends and prices, the event offers an eclectic mix of thousands of handmade and vintage items you won’t find in the shops.

Now in its fourth year and with its reputation for high quality, originality and affordable prices attracting visitors from across the country, this quarterly event brings together the cream of our local independent makers - an amazing range of talents right on our doorstep.  Add to the mix the most original vintage/antique sellers and you have quite a spectacle, and a buzzing atmosphere.

Event Director, Jacqui Lewis: “Our carefully selected mix of stalls offer everything from furniture to fashions, from jewellery to jukeboxes;  the gorgeous, the cool and the quirky.  All our talented exhibitors are passionate about what they do and everything is a one-off.  It’s a great day out for all ages and tastes and I’m thrilled that the market’s reputation attracts visitors to MK from far and wide.”

If you love a unique style, the thrill of the bargain hunt, and believe in supporting our local independents, get along to Middleton Hall – it’s free entry - but remember to allow yourself a good few hours to explore everything!

The market is on Saturday 1st (9am-7pm) and Sunday 2nd March (10.30am-5pm).
