Go Wild at the Museum this half term

Date Posted:23/05/2016

Milton Keynes MuseumYoungsters will be able to go wild at Milton Keynes Museum with the return of the popular Look at Life weekend.

Throughout the weekend 28-29 May free attractions include:

  • fascinating microscope safaris
  • pond dipping for watery mini beasts
  • a chance to find out about the food chain
  • fascinating demonstrations and identifications
  • plus rambles along the nature trail on site.

Once the weekend is over the museum moves into school holiday mode with a host of extra activities designed to keep your tribe entertained and occupied.
Professor Beamish will be continuing the science theme with a host of experiments that are nothing like the schoolroom.

Talking of which, there’ll also be special summer activities in the museum’s Victorian schoolroom, music and games to play in the farmhouse parlour, demonstrations in the Connected Earth gallery, and much more to see and try out.

As usual, there are no additional charges on top of usual admission, and you’ll be able to feed the whole family on freshly made sandwiches, homemade cake, and a drink, for less than a fiver a head.

The museum is open every day during the summer half term, Monday 30th -June 3rd and your entry ticket will allow you to return as many times as you want during every other school holiday for the following twelve months!
