Date Posted:24/01/2018

Calcutta BrasserieCalcutta Brasserie in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes has been awarded a 5 in their recent food hygiene inspection, which is the highest possible grade. The multi award winning restaurant, which is set within a 17th century chapel, received the grade last week by the Environmental and Regulatory Services at Milton Keynes Council and are thrilled.

General Manager, Ali Ajmol said “This is such fantastic news. We are delighted to achieve this standard which is a show of our hard work and dedication to our customers by offering the best level of service and quality possible.”

The food hygiene rating or inspection result given to a business reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of inspection or visit by the local authority. Each business is given a ‘hygiene rating’ when it is inspected by a food safety officer from the business’s local authority. The hygiene rating shows how closely the business is meeting the requirements of food hygiene law.
