Designed to give people living in and visiting Milton Keynes a realistic and contemporary view of one of the city’s liveliest places, the ‘Interactive Site Map’, designed by Pauley Interactive, uses the very latest technology and imagery to deliver a stylish ‘virtual’ representation of the bars, clubs, restaurants and leisure facilities.
The simple to use facility allows users to select their chosen destination, e.g. TGI Friday’s and literally ‘fly’ to its exact location giving a perfect 3D visual of the exterior as well as local knowledge, such as opening times and contact details.
Sara Mills, communications and marketing manager said: “This is a fun and interactive tool to help find your way around the Theatre District, which is particularly useful if you’re new to the city. The website already features news, competitions and games, but the Interactive Site Map really gives us something to talk about.”
Visitors to the website can also take the ‘Virtual Tour’, which gives a smooth glide through of all the Theatre District’s day and night facilities.
Phil Pauley from Pauley Interactive led the team behind the graphics, “We were delighted to have the opportunity to work with the Theatre District on their Interactive Site Map. It is a quick and easy digital visualisation and reference facility, which is a tool that can be also used in a variety of ways for in-house training, health and safety, sales and lettings, 3rd party contractors and for Emergency Services.”
