The Big Draw in the Park

Come and join in the free, fun activities exploring alternative ways of drawing. From 2pm til late you can get involved or watch the live fire drawing, or glow in the dark Frisbee throwing! The event takes place in marquees in Campbell Park; no booking or experience necessary – suitable for all ages. Just wrap up warm and come and have a go!

This is a wonderful opportunity for all the family to participate in free drawing activities, inspired by the current Milton Keynes Gallery exhibition ‘Gilberto Zorio’. The event takes place in Campbell Park on Saturday 25 October. 

Outline programme of events:

2-6pm - Activities for all age ranges, including:
• Drawing a large shape using natural materials resulting in a collective temporary sculpture – with the assistance of Parks Trust staff
• Making storyboard drawings, transferred to film which artist Luke Williams will turn into an animated film that will be screened later in the evening
• Creative workshops with Theatre staff using simple props
6-7pm
• Film screenings, and displays of public work made during the day
7-9pm onwards
• Drawing to music
• Pyrotechnic display – witness live drawing with fire
