From 30 November regional shopping destination thecentre:mk, will be opening late so that customers have longer to sneak into buy those remaining Christmas presents. Every Monday to Wednesday it will be open until 8pm while on Thursdays and Fridays it will close at 9pm and at 7pm on Saturdays. On Sundays it will open between 11am and 5pm.

The hours will be extended further in the run-up to Christmas Day so that from 14 December it will be open until 9pm every Monday to Friday. It will also be open from 9am to 5pm on Christmas Eve. For eager bargain hunters the January Sales will begin at 9am sharp on Boxing Day, but please check individual stores for details.

“Up to 1 million shoppers per week visit thecentre:mk each December and some of these are bound to be last minute shoppers,” commented Jackie Tracey, Events and Commercialisation manager at thecentre:mk. “So the announcement of our extended opening times are key for those people who are planning their Christmas shopping and with less than 60 days to go until Christmas shoppers now have no excuse for the Christmas Eve rush.”
