Daliso Chaponda
Daliso’s earliest aspiration was to become a reverend but alas, he enjoys sinning too much. Stand-up comedy is the closest he has come to his initial dream of the pulpit. From Malawi to Toronto to Warrington, his unusual upbringing has shaped a style that sparkles with wit and charm, and enough stage presence to hold his audiences in rapt attention.
"A stand-up comedian with raw Eddie Murphy confidence, cheek and super-polished style" (Nerve, Liverpool).
Steve Day
Steve is a truly unique comedian - warm, witty and engaging whilst dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. Steve went on his first national tour back in 2006, and has since been performing across the world to critical acclaim.
"Revelatory and very funny" (The Guardian)
"Warm, funny, frank and thought-provoking" (The Scotsman)
"The best comedy often comes from real-life observations, something that Day had down to a T" (Brighton Argus)
Carl Hutchinson
"The phrase ‘One to watch’ gets bandied around a lot on the comedy circuit, but Carl is one of a few new comedians where it actually applies." (Evening Gazette). Originally from the North East of England, Carl took to the comedy stage in 2007 and quickly got noticed reaching the final of the esteemed So You Think You’re Funny competition held in Edinburgh, Manchester's Beat the Frog World Series competition and the Magners Pub Comedian of the Year in London. In 2010 Carl starred in ITV’s FHM Comedy Hero and he now performs all over the country.
Susan Murray
If you've never had a kipper tie with two sugars, then you've never had a cup of tea in the Black Country. Susan was raised in the West Midlands by her Scottish family - she has the Glaswegian attitude coupled with a Brummie drawl - and is one of the comedy circuits favourite feisty females. "Not only is the material uniquely witty and insightful, but Murray’s delivery is infallibly on the pulse" (Fest Magazine).
