Some Like It Hot – follows the antics of two musicians (Tony Curtis & Jack Lemmon) as they flee the Chicago Mob and dress up in drag to join an all girl jazz band featuring loverlorn singer and glamour puss Marilyn Monroe. Milton Keynes’ first ever outdoor cinema will take place on Friday 15 August 2008 in Campbell Park. Where the glamour of Marilyn Monroe and the madcap antics of Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon will provide a unique cinematic experience under the stars.

Film-lovers will have the opportunity to see the highly acclaimed comedy classic on a giant 35 x 15 ft screen.  The film starts at 7.30pm, has universal certification and is free for all. Simply bring a picnic, some friends, a date or the whole family and enjoy this one-night only screening.

Nominated for 7 Academy Awards, Some Like It Hot is the quintessential farce and follows the misfortunes of Chicago musicians (Tony Curtis & Jack Lemmon) as they flee a crime scene and dress up in drag to join an all-girl jazz band featuring lovelorn singer Marilyn Monroe.
