The city has some great places to walk all you need is a little spare time and a sense of adventure. There are twenty different walks catering for all ages and abilities over four days, from Friday 30 April until Monday 3 May 2010. Simply check the list of walks available on The Parks Trust website www.theparkstrust.com and reserve your place. Each walk is guided by an experienced walk leader either from the Trust, the Ramblers or from the Walking for Health scheme.
Most of the walks are free, however a £1 fee is payable for specialist walks such as the Night walk, Dawn Chorus walk or Waggy walk.
With over 4,500 acres of parks and green space, including river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides and parks Milton Keynes is one of Britain’s greenest cities and a great place to enjoy the outdoors and spring sun.
