New Arts Guide for Milton Keynes
Published - Sunday, 05 April, 2009
A pocket-sized Arts Guide has been created to help visitors seek out and enjoy the many and varied artforms available amongst the city's venues. The Guide includes several contemporary art galleries, theatres, art centres, performance and dance spaces, community arts facilities, artist run studios and workshops. You can also take a walking tour of the art situated within the city centre.

Most venues have email bulletins or mailing lists for residents to sign up for current activities and events with many located in or close to Central Milton Keynes.  There is always something new to see.

At the rear of the guide there is information on the City Centre Public Art with descriptions of the artwork and a map, with a suggested walk around the pieces.

Lucy Bedford, Arts Development Officer for Milton Keynes Council said “Milton Keynes has established a reputation as a centre of excellence for exciting and accessible arts.  We hope this guide will allow people to easily find arts venues and engage in the artistic experiences offered across the Borough “

Interactive maps are available to help people plan their arts journey to the venues and public art, and can be found along with a PDF of the Arts Guide by clicking here. Copies are also available on stands across Milton Keynes including the libraries, leisure centres and supermarkets
