Weird and wacky entertainers and performers will bring the ‘Fashionable Quarter’ to life during each weekend in May and dazzle shoppers with a host of ‘mad’ performances. Entertainers will circulate Midsummer Place handing out scratchcards but the rest can be found behind the tills of each retailer.

“The start of summer is a wonderful time to celebrate, which is why we’re bringing a fun, interactive and slightly barmy event to shoppers at Midsummer Place,” says Centre Manager, Martin Hindson. “Not only do we have a great range of shops for people to choose from but we’re also rewarding customers for shopping here by giving away free scratchcards. Whether you’re an instant winner or not, every person has a really good chance of winning this impressive car.”

May 29th will also start a three day ‘party’ in the shopping centre and will be the last chance to enter the car draw. A spectacular theme of entertainers, provided by the Dragons’ Den company, D4M, will conclude this celebration plus a ‘celebrity’ guest will make the draw on Sunday 31st May at 2pm – the name will be announced nearer the time.

Instant Winners will be able to collect their prize there and then by visiting the Customer Service Desk next to Caffe Italia. Other prizes have been donated by Office; Debenhams, Puma, Clarins, Waterstones, Clinique Schuh, Azendi and TM Lewis.
