The Proms in the Park concert will feature amazing performances and a variety of popular classics, and the firework and laser finale will be bigger and more amazing than ever before. The Proms concerts are all picnic-style - a great occasion to spend an evening in the open air with family and friends, enjoying good music, good company and good food, topped off with lashings of fireworks!

Once again the London Gala Orchestra is performing at the event and they will be under the baton of renowned local conductor Hilary Davan Wetton.  Also returning as guest soloist, by popular request, the multi-talented mezzo soprano, composer and record producer, Juliette Pochin.

Following the huge success of the last visit of Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra two year ago this time with the added bonus of special guest vocalist, Marc Almond, who has been performing and touring extensively with Jools since 2001. Also joining Jools on stage will be the amazing Ruby Turner!

Gates at Campbell Park for both events will open at 6.00pm to allow plenty of time to enjoy a summer picnic before the concert starts.
