On Thursday 30 August, Milton Keynes will host to official launch of the Heritage Open Days in this region. Heritage Open Days is co-ordinated nationally by the Civic Trust in partnership with English Heritage who core funds the event. Between 6-9 September 2007 over 2,500 facinating properties across England will be opening their doors for free.
In Milton Keynes many local attractions are participating in the event. There are also many specific activties being arranged over the four days to encourage people to take an interest in their local history.
