A recent study revealed that children who enjoy close bonds with their grandparents grow up much happier than those who don’t. With this in mind, Gulliver’s is treating grandparents to a weekend of free fun with the grandkids at its theme parks across the country!

The first ever study into relationships between children and their grandchildren, conducted by Oxford University and the Institute of Education, London , saw 1,596 children surveyed about their grandparents. The results overwhelmingly showed that grandparents who practised “active grandparenting” – taking part in activities and hobbies with their grandchildren – led to happier, more sociable and better behaved children.
