The new and improved attraction will be split into separate sections. Dinosaur and Farm Park, Eco Park and Waterside Plaza, and Gully’s Camp.
The Dinosaur and Farm Park area of the attraction will provide families with an action-packed day out. In the Farm Park section, there will be new animals every season, including cows, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens, plus furry friends like bunnies, guinea pigs and more in Cuddle Corner. There will also be fun activities like the Milking Challenge. Families can also plant seeds, dig up vegetables, see crops grow and learn more about how a real farm works.
In Dinosaur Park, families can dig for fossils, take a Lost World tour and seek out the life-sized dinosaur models lurking in the trees from the Observation Tower. Mini dinosaur detectives can also enjoy activities like the Caveman Challenge, Design-A-Saurus and the Cretatious Crawl. Visitors will be able to buy a single ticket to visit Farm and Dinosaur Park, or a combined ticket to visit Gulliver’s Land too.
The Eco Park and Waterside Plaza area of the attraction is being expanded throughout 2009 – entry into this section will be free while development takes place, with just a small charge for boat rides on the lake. The new Eco Park will give children a hands-on look at how to save the planet, incorporating recycling, cutting down carbon footprints and more.
Gully’s Camp is also being developed throughout 2009, and is expected to be open for business by the beginning of the 2010 season, offering families a place to stay to explore all the attractions on offer.
