STOP PRESS - Foot and Mouth Update

This is the latest update from Tourism South East regarding current restrictions regarding the Foot and Mouth outbreak.

Tourism South East (TSE) is working with tourism businesses, local authorities, VisitBritain and the DCMS to get the message out that Surrey and South East England is very much open to visitors. The Foot-and-Mouth outbreak is still limited to a small area within Surrey

DEFRA has now announced that the footpaths and bridleways have been closed within the 3km protection zone in Surrey and it will decide on future closures based on ongoing risk assessments. However, there are still many areas that are open to the public.

Surrey and South East England are welcoming visitors and is very much open for business. There are great attractions, destinations, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and much more for visitors to enjoy.
