Rising West End sensation Louise Dearman grew up in Leighton Buzzard dreaming of “treading the boards” as a leading lady. Only a few years ago on her road to stardom, she was showing audience members to their seats as a Front of House performance staff member at Milton Keynes Theatre, the venue where she is now starring as one of the most iconic female leading roles in musical theatre history - Eva Peron in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s memorable masterpiece Evita!

With more than 20 major awards to its credit, including the Oscar winning film version starring Madonna and Antonio Banderas, and featuring one of the most coveted roles in musical theatre, this brand new production of the smash hit show comes to Milton Keynes Theatre for a two-week run from 29 September to 11 October.

Louise Dearman plays the extraordinary Eva Peron, wife of former Argentine dictator Juan Peron, who, from young and ambitious beginnings, gained enormous wealth and power during her ultimate rise to sainthood.

Louise’s musical theatre credits include Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Grease, Kiss Me Kate and she also recently starred at Milton Keynes Theatre alongside Samantha Janus and Alex Ferns in the smash-hit run of Guys and Dolls last year.

Joining Louise on stage in the role of Che is Seamus Cullen, popular finalist from the hit BBC TV programme Any Dream Will Do, Mark Heenehan as Juan Peron, whose film credits include The Road to Damascus, Spy Game and Thunderpants and newcomer James Waud as Magaldi, who was hand picked from over one hundred hopefuls who entered a casting call to find the perfect all round performer for the role.

Evita features some of the most famous and inspiring stage music ever written, including the classic songs ‘Don’t Cry For Me Argentina’, ‘On This Night of a Thousand Stars’, ‘Oh What A Circus’, ‘You Must Love Me’, ‘Another Suitcase in Another Hall’ and ‘High Flying Adored’.
