The Milton Keynes park, which is located next to Gulliver’s Land theme park, was presented with the silver award for “Farm Attraction of the Year” at the National Farm Attractions Network Awards 2009.
The attraction is made up of themed areas and gives children a hands-on experience of dinosaurs and farm animals. Visitors can travel back 65 million years into the mystical world of dinosaurs and identify the creatures lurking in the trees, zoom back in time on the Flight Simulator and then dig for fossils in the Bone Yard.
In the Farm Park, there are new animals every season – so kids can get up close and personal with cows, lambs, goats, pigs and chickens, furry friends like bunnies, guinea pigs and more in Cuddle Corner and even creepy crawlies in Bug World. There’s also a milking challenge, tractor rides and cooking lessons in the Farmhouse Kitchen.
Gulliver’s managing director Julie Dalton said: “We’re excited to start the 2010 season at Dinosaur and Farm Park, and we’re thrilled to gain recognition from the National Farm Attractions Network. We will continue to offer great value, hands-on family fun throughout 2010 and beyond.”
Dinosaur and Farm Park will be open throughout April for the Easter break – check www.gulliversfun.co.uk for specific opening times and dates. Visitors can choose between a single ticket to visit Dinosaur and Farm Park, or a combined ticket to visit Gulliver’s Land too.
Gulliver’s will also be unveiling its new Milton Keynes campsite this Easter. The 90-pitch family site will be run by the Camping and Caravanning Club.
