Milton Keynes companies are being actively encouraged to take part in the Cycle-MK Challenge – a fun and free workplace-based challenge to inspire people to give cycling a go…

Cycle-MK Challenge is a taking place as part of National Bike Week, and is supported by the new Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr. Debbie Brock who is herself a keen cyclist.  It is aimed at employers and employees to ride a bike for just 10 minutes over the three week Challenge period from Monday 21 June to Sunday 11 July 2010.

“People can ride wherever they feel comfortable and at anytime over the Challenge period,” says Ceri Griffin, Cyling and Walking Development Officer, Milton Keynes Council. “It’s not just about cycling to work or cycling the most miles, just get on a bike and see how much fun it is!”

It is easy to take part and there are plenty of activities and prizes to act as incentives to get everyone started.
