The Christmas Storyland Adventure and Santa’s Grotto at thecentre:mk has attracted a record number of visitors to date. Since the launch of the Christmas event three weeks ago, Santa has welcomed over 8,000 children into his grotto and the Christmas Storyland Adventure has seen more than 700,000 people pass through its wishing pool, jump on the interactive stars under the 35ft Christmas tree and experience the icy crystal forest with its magical virtual wish fairy.

On the weekend of the 4 December, Santa met, gave gifts and listened to the Christmas wishes of over 1,600 children. Santa at thecentre:mk enthused: “It was wonderful to see so many happy faces over the weekend! All good girls and boys, who knew just what they wanted for Christmas! As a treat, we have given lots of traditional gifts to the children, but also our eco-friendly Christmas tree saplings, have been an incredibly popular choice. This showed me that the children of Milton Keynes want to look after the environment by planting their very own Christmas tree in their garden! Ho Ho Ho!”

With only 11 shopping days to Christmas, Santa and his toy soldiers are expected to be busier than ever before. This year, the Christmas Storyland, has provided families with an array of free activities with the aim to create excitement and interact with the visitors, ensuring everyone enjoys the build up to Christmas.  www.thecentremk.com.
