Dancing in the streets of MK
Published - Wednesday, 14 March, 2007
A young group of street dancers based in MK have showed great ingenuity, which has seen them win in a national dance competition.

The Nemesis Crew spent the last few months rehearsing in front of the mirrored windows that grace the façade of the old bus station building in Central Milton Keynes.

Come rain or snow – this dedicated group of talented young people rehearsed two or three times a week in the city centre as they could not afford the high rates of a professional dance studio. Well, now their hard work has paid off as the group took the title of ‘4 Dance UK Hip Hop Adult Crew’ and the ‘Overall Crew Championships 2007’ at The National Street Dance Championships 2007 held in March.

The crew will now go on to hopefully represent the UK in an international competition held in Los Angeles later in the year, if a suitable sponsor can be found.
