Six months on from the replacement of the local radio station with a national and regional service, a team of former Heart FM staff has announced plans to launch a new radio station for the local community.
Interdirect is well established locally, and its digital service has a significant presence in Milton Keynes. The agency now also provides Design, PR and Marketing services, enabling the business to offer a full range of expertise to its clients.
The Beat of MK – MKFM will launch in July 2011 with a month long trial broadcast on FM as part of a campaign for a permanent FM licence. The radio station will be local in every sense, with all programmes broadcast from studios at the Xscape and a full service of local news, traffic and travel, and sports results.
