One Indian restaurant in Stony Stratford has gone to extraordinary lengths to show support for the Royal Wedding, by putting Prince William and Kate’s face on their specially commissioned naan breads.

Calcutta Brasserie is holding a special celebration evening on Friday 29 April for guests looking to mark the royal wedding in a memorable way. Each guest will be treated to a champagne reception and the chance to sample the restaurant’s new wedding set menus; plus they will receive a naan with the couple’s face on it.

Restaurant manager, Mo, who celebrates his two year anniversary on 29 April, will be decorating the 17th century chapel with traditional bunting and balloons.  He said: “This is a wonderful British celebration that has captured the nation’s interest. It is wonderful for us to embrace and celebrate another culture and we have gone to every effort to make this happen as best we can.”

Calcutta Brasserie is also launching its wedding and hospitality packages on this evening which will see customers being able to book the venue for wedding receptions, parties and events.
