Whittlebury Park invests £1 million in new inspirational spaces for corporate guests

Whittlebury ParkWhittlebury Park has announced plans to invest £1 million in its Conference & Events spaces. Phase one of the significant project will commence from 11th November 2019 and includes a range of exciting new room concepts including an ‘inside, outside’ space, contemporary corridor seating and brand new coffee stations. The project is being led by Monica Hira of Hira Hospitality Interiors who has worked closely with the team at Whittlebury to design the new suite of inspirational spaces.

Whittlebury Park’s facilities include 19 Training & Meeting Rooms and 15 Syndicate Rooms, all of which will be included in the refurbishment. The project will see every element of the rooms being upgraded to introduce modern and functional fixtures and fittings as well as entirely bespoke elements and inviting colour schemes.

The meeting spaces that will be upgraded vary in size, but each room will have its own new look and feel wherein every detail has been carefully considered by Monica and her team; "I am delighted to be collaborating with Whittlebury Park on this project. This will be a remarkable transformation and will include a diverse range of ideas from new Biophilic flooring to the quirky indoor treehouse! We have also included comfortable and stylish furniture along with new lighting concepts. We want to ensure that delegates have a memorable and unique experience at Whittlebury and so it was important for the designs to make a lasting impact."

Whittlebury Park's Commercial Director, Marc Webster, added; “The aim of this significant investment project is to give our clients what they have told us they want from a meeting space, as well as responding to industry trends. We understand that conference facilities need to progress with changing needs and the new look and feel of the spaces will certainly achieve this. We are paying close attention to the small details as well as the overall visual appeal of the rooms and we look forward to welcoming new and existing guests back to experience the difference."

During November an additional £40k investment in SHY ZIP System Blackout Blinds will also be installed in Whittlebury’s 1905 Suite. The fully motorised flexible solution allows for total room personalisation which means customers can opt for windows to be open, closed, partly closed or any other configuration that improves the output of their meeting.

Whittlebury’s flexible purpose-built conference and event spaces can cater from small meetings of 20 people to a conference for 500, and all delegate packages can be made bespoke to individual requirements. Find out more at whittlebury.com/business
