McDonald’s Drive Thru’s return to 24 hour trading from Friday 24 July

Date Posted:20/07/2020

Four McDonald’s Drive Thru’s will return to 24 hour trading on Friday 24 July, two months after they reopened with limited hours in place.

McDonald’s restaurants in Brickhill, Kingston, Westcroft and Wolverton will all trade for 24 hours a day, with their main menu switching over to breakfast at 5am.

All McDonald’s stores in Milton Keynes are now open, with breakfast restarting last week. The stores had closed their doors temporarily on 23 March, and were closed for three months.

Franchisee Ken Tomkins, who owns the four Drive Thru’s along with the stores at centre:mk and Xscape, said “We’ve seen many changes since we began trading again nearly eight weeks ago, with the introduction of our Drive Thru lanes, the return of breakfast and the price reductions made thanks the the Chancellor’s VAT reduction last week. Now, we’re just a few days away from the return of 24 hour opening. I can’t wait for my first 5am coffee!”

For now, McDonald’s are selling a limited menu, but this isn’t expected to last too long. To stay up to date with local announcements, follow KaizenMcDsMK on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
