In Summer 2016, Destination Milton Keynes has embarked on a marketing campaign to challenge people's pre-conceived ideas of Milton Keynes the place.
#unexpectedmk has highlighted some of the unexpected views, activities and architecture that Milton Keynes has and turned these concepts on their head.
The campaign will firstly roll out across the London Transport system including Euston mainline station and at targeted underground stations. The year-long plan will also include an online presence, regional radio campaign and a TV advertisement in 2017.
As part of the campaign, we want residents and visitors to show us their #unexpected discoveries in Milton Keynes throughout the summer...and to send us that photo of an amazing view you never thought you'd see, or that little pocket of unexpected countryside next to the big city, or maybe you had an experience you'd never thought you'd have in MK! We'll post some on here, plus RT/Share via social media.
